How often does my Lexus actually need new spark plugs?

Much less often than older cars, since most modern Lexus engines use iridium spark plugs that last well longer than traditional copper plugs. That said, they're not maintenance-free forever, and a plug that's overdue can cause misfires, poor fuel economy, or a rough idle. Our trustworthy technicians at Ode Auto Repair & Tire can check spark plug condition. Call (586) 774-4400 if your Lexus has felt less smooth lately.

What should I bring or know before dropping off my Lexus for service?

Having your service history, even a rough idea of when your last service was, helps us pick up right where things left off. If something's been acting up, jotting down when it happens, cold mornings, highway speeds, after sitting overnight, gives us a lead. Our trustworthy technicians at Ode Auto Repair & Tire will ask the right questions if you're not sure what matters. Call (586) 774-4400 and we'll get you scheduled.

Why does my Lexus make a clunking noise over bumps?

Worn control arm bushings are one of the most common causes, and it's a wear item that shows up gradually rather than all at once. Left alone, it can also throw off your alignment and wear tires unevenly. Our trustworthy technicians at Ode Auto Repair & Tire can check the bushings and control arms to confirm before recommending anything. Our hours are Mon-Fri: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Sat-Sun: Closed.
